<h3></h3><p>The seeds of this cotton are not genetically modified and it is grown without pesticides, insecticides or chemical fertilizers, preserving the ecosystem of the land. Toxic substances are also not used during production and weaving which prevents sensitive skin from being exposed to them.</p>

Organic cotton

<h3></h3><p>Mayoral collaborates with Better Cotton to improve cotton production worldwide.</p><p>Better Cotton is sourced through a chain-of-custody model called mass balance. This means that Better Cotton cannot be physically traced back to the final products; however, cotton producers benefit from the demand for Better Cotton in volumes equivalent to what we "source".</p><p>At Mayoral, we are committed to sourcing 50% of our cotton as 'more sustainable cotton' by 2025.</p>

<h3>Fashion with a second life </h3><p>Different types are distinguished according to the main fiber recycled:<br/>Recycled cotton is made from cotton fibers and waste fabrics, thus reducing the impact of their cultivation, CO2 emissions and water consumption.<br/>Recycled polyester is obtained from recycled materials, such as polyester fabrics and PET waste. It has the same technical characteristics as other polyester fibers and the environmental impact of its production is lower.<br/>Recycled rubber comes from rubber waste and offers multiple applications, such as shoe soles.<br/>- Environmentally friendly<br/>- Reuse of materials<br/>- Lower CO2 emissions</p>
